The Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland is calling on long lost Miss Australia and Miss Queensland beauty queens, particularly those living in Queensland, to step forward to help celebrate our sixtieth anniversary.
The Miss Australia Quest began in 1954 to celebrate the success of young Australian women and went on to become one of the most successful fundraising events in Australian history.
The Quest was conducted throughout the country to raise funds for the care and welfare of children and adults with cerebral palsy.
To date, the Miss Australia Quest has raised close to $90 million for the cause nation-wide.
The League hopes to locate these significant contributors in time for our birthday celebrations as the Miss Australia Quest was a key part of our history and an imperative part of the success we have enjoyed to date.
Many of our former Miss Queenslands have married, changed their name and address and it has proved difficult for us to keep in touch to continue our vote of thanks.
If you are – or are in regular contact with – a former Miss Queensland or Miss Australia, please contact the Leage on 1800 819 086 or fill out the form below.
I have information which may assist in locating a former Miss Queensland!
