Angela Tillmanns MBA, Grad Dip Social Ecology, GAICD
Angela joined CPL as CEO in 2008, with more than 30 years experience in service delivery with the Commonwealth Government. Over the past two years Angela has brought a new focus to CPL with a strong leadership style, foresight and a commitment to quality client service. She is passionate about creating a better society for all and giving people with disability a stronger voice and involvement in our community. While Angela serves the Board of the Cerebral Palsy League in Queensland she also sits on the National Disability Services Queensland Committee and on a range of national and state sector-wide committees seeking to influence policy and enhance the sustainability of the disability sector.

Greg Cuffe B. Bus CA
Greg joined CPL in 2003, bringing with him over 30 years experience as a Chartered Accountant in public practice. Prior to joining CPL, Greg ran his own business consulting to a range of organisations from start-ups to blue-chip corporates across a broad range of sectors. However, the bulk of his experience was gained at Deloitte, where he ultimately specialised in audit, insolvency and corporate finance. During his time with CPL, Greg has significantly grown the organisation’s IT capabilities and transformed its systems, during a period of massive growth and change which saw CPL triple in size and turnover. More recently, his key areas of focus are on managing growth in regional areas, managing CPL’s property development projects and reducing organisational debt with a further review of our IT capabilities on his agenda for the years ahead.
GM Services
Peter Mewett Cert Metallurgy
Peter joined CPL as General Manager of Services in 2009, with more than 24 years’ experience in disability service delivery in non-government organisations and with government (State and Commonwealth). Peter brings with him a wealth of expertise across service delivery, disability policy, program design and evaluation, which has resulted in him receiving a number of senior leadership and achievement awards. Peter is passionate about creating resilience through CPL’s support services, ensuring people with a disability become self-determining about the support they receive and have every opportunity to participate in, and contribute to, their community. Peter is also a member of various sector-wide groups seeking to influence public policy and programs, and community awareness of disability issues.
GM Marketing and Communications
Jordan McCarthy MIB, MAIC, BSM
Jordan has a strong branding and marketing background with experience in both the not-for-profit and corporate sectors. Prior to starting with the Cerebral Palsy League in January 2012, she worked as the Marketing and Communication Director for the international aid agency, Act for Peace, to drive a full rebranding of the organisation and grow community and online fundraising. She has also had experience developing end-to-end marketing campaigns for business-to-business software solutions. Jordan’s focus at the Cerebral Palsy League will be to streamline marketing for fundraising as well as restructure services marketing to better engage with clients and local communities.
GM Fundraising
Ben Cox BA, MFIA
Ben has nearly 10 years of experience as a professional fundraiser in Queensland. Over this time he has gained considerable experience in many fundraising disciplines including direct marketing, community events, corporate partnerships, major gifts, merchandise, bequests and online fundraising. Before joining CPL, Ben spent time with the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation and Brisbane Legacy helping them to develop and grow their fundraising programs. As GM of Fundraising, Ben is responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of current fundraising programs at CPL while developing new profitable appeals, campaigns and events. A key focus for Ben is the development of donor-centric fundraising models and the development of CPL's corporate partnerships and major gift programs. Ben is both a member of the Fundraising Institute of Australia (FIA) and is also Vice President of their Queensland Executive Committee.
GM Innovation and Business Development
Wendy Lavelle BA (PR), Assoc Dip Habilitation, Dip Community Education.
Wendy has been working with the Cerebral Palsy League since 2003. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her position, having worked as a Job Development Officer at Mylestones Employment (then Access Employment) before becoming Mylestones Printing Service Manager, followed by Client Liaison and Information Officer, and finally the Mylestones Employment Manager. Wendy has extensive employment history within the community sector and is able to draw upon a wealth of communications, service provision, service management and leadership experience to build mutually beneficial working relationships. In her current role she manages a range of complex services, programs and functions to ensure the Mylestones businesses are financially viable and are providing top quality service.
GM Human Resources
Rosalie Cunningham MAMI, MFIA
Rosalie has 20 years experience across marketing, sponsorship and event management. Before joining CPL in 2008, she held senior marketing positions with QR and was part of the organising committee of the 2001 Goodwill Games in Brisbane. She has also managed corporate sponsorships of major events such as the Olympic Games and worked with a variety of brands including Samsung, IBM, Unilever and the Mars Group. The focus of her current role is on integrating the full suite of CPL’s marketing services to generate results, deliver brand equity and engage with the community, plus spearheading new and effective fundraising initiatives to aid CPL in gaining greater financial independence.
