To celebrate the League’s 60th anniversary, the theme of Art for Art’s Sake in 2008 will be “New Beginnings”. Approximately 30 talented artists will donate themed pieces to be exhibited and auctioned to raise funds.
The exhibition will be on display from 19 to 28 May 2008. The pieces will then be auctioned on 28 May at a cocktail function commencing at 6:30pm.
Tickets to the cocktail party and auction can be purchased for $30 per person, which includes hors d’ourves and drinks package. Proxy bidding will be available for those individuals unable to attend the event.
Artist profiles and images of their art will be available on the website shortly.
