Access Employment Service
Access Employment Service is a Disability Employment Network and is funded by the Federal Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
Access opened its doors in 1993 and has steadily grown over the years to include offices at Bowen Hills, Caboolture, Greenslopes, the Gold Coast and Ipswich.
Access operates a Capped Service, which provides assistance to people with disabilities. Access assesses people’s abilities and what type of work they want. Access then completes extensive job search and support in the workplace once a person has been placed in employment.
Access has a Job Placement Licence. This service provides job placements for employers by assisting them to fill their vacancies.
Access also has a Supported Wage contract, which operates by providing assessments to Supported Wage clients.
