The Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland (CPLQ) is the largest provider of disability support services to people with a physical disability in Queensland. Capability Queensland is a business initiative of CPLQ, created to deliver high quality consulting and training services across Queensland. Capability Queensland in a preferred supplier for the Disability Sector Quality System.

Having been a provider of disability services for more than fifty years, CPLQ has a well developed understanding of the Disability Sector, including knowledge of funded service delivery types, potential organisational models and approaches to service delivery.

Capability Queensland has a strong commitment to quality, learning and organisational development, and believes it is well placed to support other organisations in developing a quality management system that complies with the Disability Sector Quality System (DSQS).

CPLQ's regionalised service delivery model, together with diversity of staff, provides a strong framework for service delivery and understanding. CPLQ prides itself as a learning organisation with a strong value base.

What services does the League provide?

CPLQ is an established provider of quality disability services, employing some 1000 staff across the state who provide services to some 3000 adults and children with disabilities and their families. These include service types such as accommodation, respite, information, day services, employment services, therapy and social work, equipment and psychology services.
