Standing

There are lots of reasons why it is good for kids to stand, but the only way they will be happy doing it is if they are in a product that's right for them, suitable for their size, environment and developmental level.

ETS Marketing has a huge range of standing products to make sure that kids get their chance to look at the world from a standing position. Most of our products are available for demonstration and trial and we have qualified therapy staff to help you choose a product that's just right for your child.

Have a browse through our standing frames and get your therapist to give us a call if you'd like to try one.

Upright Standers are excellent for children with fair-good upper body control who may be learning skills to help them progress to more independent standing. Children need to be able to hold their head up and tolerate upright for at least 20 minutes or so to use an upright stander.

Prone Standing Frames lean children slightly forward, and usually provide a tray to allow kids to push up through their arms. Prone standing frames are suitable for children who have fair upper body control and need to improve their postural control or head control before progressing to the upright position. Most of these frames have adjustable prone angle and can be positioned more upright as children develop better control.Adjustable prone standers can also be useful for children who can work in upright for only short periods.

Supine (reclined) Standing Frames are useful for children who have tenuous antigravity control or whose physical size makes it difficult to load them into a standing frame. Many supine models recline all the way to horizontal to allow easy manual or hoist transfers.
