THERAPY BENCHES

These durable and adjustable benches from Kaye products are a "must-have" for any therapy gym. The solid stable construction makes the Kaye Therapy Bench ideal for children who are learning to move from one level to another: from the floor to sitting on the bench, from side sitting to upright kneeling, from sitting to standing. The benches can also be used as a table.

AIREX MATS

Airex mats are firm, comfortable and colourful, with excellent cushioning qualities and an integrally moulded skin which feels warm to the touch. Airex's transverse ribbed surface pattern ensures that the mat always lies flat. Tiny air-filled cells act as individual air cushions which firmly resist the "bottoming-out" of a knee or elbow pushed into the mat. The mat itself is extremely durable and tear-resistant, for many years of use.

Legs and Feet - A Review of Musculoskeletal Assessments (Cusick, 1999)

This videotaped review of assessment procedures gives the rehab team the means to meticulously acquire 30 measurable and functionally-meaningful findings. This edition has been enhanced by adding three new procedures, and by using skeletal components to facilitate landmark identification.

The FlexCast Preparatory AFO (Cusick, 2000)

John Russell, CP, BOC Orthotist, of Collier Rehabilitation Systems, Inc., Pleasant Hill, CA, originated the FlexCast Preparatory AFO® fabrication technique. He often uses it to prepare the ankle and foot with equinus contracture for the introduction of an orthosis, such as his R-Wrap AFO©, by regaining joint mobility and limb volume. Beverly Cusick, PT, MS, modified Russell's technique to suit the properties of similar, adhesive-backed padding materials.
