Accommodation Services

The League Adult Accommodation Service (LAAS) supports people with a disability to live in the accommodation and community setting of their choice.

What do we do?

The service can provide the range of supports necessary for people to live in their own home, family home or share accommodation with friends.

Support services may include:

  • Personal care
  • Accommodation search
  • Shopping
  • Household budgeting
  • Bank access
  • Organising housekeeping services
  • Providing local information about other supports and resources available

How do you apply?

Applications and referrals can be made through the relevant Regional Manager. This will be followed by an assessment which will be used to make an application for funding to the Department of Families, Youth and Community Care for support hours.

NB. Provision of ongoing support is dependent on success of the funding application.
