Parents and Guardians Association
Stakeholder Consultation
The Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland is committed to providing services that respond to individual needs. In doing so, CPLQ recognises that the participation of clients and their families is essential to sound strategic decision making and service planning.
CPLQ has a voluntary group of family members and advocates representative of the broad range of families accessing services. The Parents and Guardian Association is highly valued and comprises representatives from across service areas.
The Parents and Guardians Association strives to link with local groups throughout CPLQ who are working collaboratively with Regional Managers to plan services and maintain quality.
The Parents and Guardian Association meets every six weeks and is open to any interested family member or advocate.
Representatives from the Parents and Guardians Association liaise with the Board and senior management of CPLQ, and provide a family perspective to organisational decision making.
