Education
One of the roles of the Technology Unit is to provide education about Assistive Technology. The team provides an information service to League therapists and clients, and the wider community.
The team offers support to therapists regarding professional issues related to technology and equipment provision. Professional support is offered primarily to League staff, but educational sessions may also be arranged for other organisations or groups.
The team is able to meet learning needs in a variety of ways - for example peer support, problem solving, tutorials, individual consultations, workshops or equipment displays. Contact the team for more information about your individual needs.
The team publishes a newsletter for League staff and other interested groups. This provides updates about our service and the latest equipment available.
