Art for Art's Sake 2005

In August 2005, 33 local artists and celebrities submitted works of art for the Art for Art’s Sake exhibition, held at the Brisbane Powerhouse to launch National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week.

The finished pieces were exhibited at the Brisbane Powerhouse for a week, and then auctioned to raise much-needed funds for children and adults with cerebral palsy. All pieces of art were sold under the hammer and raised more than $27,000 for CPL!

More than 200 guests were treated to entertainment by Aria-winning, Tyrone Noonan and internationally renowned didgeridoo player, William Barton.
