Five hundred primary school students (seven of whom have cerebral palsy), teachers and parents broke a Guinness World Record on 21 February 2007 to raise vital funds and awareness for the League through the Colour Your Day Appeal.

The “Face-Off” face painting record attempt included 500 faces, 60 sponges, 40 bottles of face paint, 20 paintbrushes and five teachers.

Five teachers from Craigslea State School in Brisbane painted 500 faces in one hour to break the record, which was previously 406 students.

Hundreds of students participated to achieve the Guinness World Record fame.
