Families looking for a fun weekend outing are in for a treat when Brisbane’s largest free picnic event, Picnic in the Park, returns to Roma Street Parkland on Saturday 31 July 2010 from 10am to 3pm.

Picnic in the Park boasts free entry and has something for everyone to enjoy, from amusement rides through to market stalls, all-day entertainment to gourmet food stalls.

Over 4000 Queenslanders are expected to attend CPL’s Picnic in the Park presented by Treasury Casino and Hotel. The annual event aims to raise awareness and celebrate the achievements of people with cerebral palsy and physical disability and will mark the start of Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week (1-7 August).

All funds raised on the day will help CPL to continue to make a real difference to the lives of Queenslanders with physical disability.
