Volunteers
If you have some time to spare or perhaps a particular skill you’d like to share? Consider registering as a CPLQ volunteer! Opportunities to volunteer are often available in the Brisbane region and also in Toowoomba, the Gold Coast, Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Rockhampton.
Why does the League need volunteers?
Any not-for-profit organisation depends heavily on public generosity and volunteer participation for its success. CPLQ has had a long association with volunteers who provide valuable community support in terms of time, money, resources, expertise, contacts and connections, for both the organisation and individual people with disabilities. CPLQ volunteers extend and enhance the services provided by paid staff.
Who can be a volunteer?
CPLQ volunteers include people over 16 years of age from all walks of life, with positive attitude towards people with disabilities and a variety of skills and time to offer. If you have a little free time and wish to become involved in a very rewarding experience…volunteer! A couple of hours per week or fortnight can make a big difference.
