Conditions of Loan
Audio Visual Material / Print Material
- It is illegal to copy all or part of a video/film without the permission from the owners of copyright, even if the copy is made for private use. Copyright Law in Australia is contained in the Copyright Act 1968 and in decisions of court.
- No charge may be made for admission to screening in accordance with the Picture Theatres and Film Act.
- All videos must be rewound after viewing.
- The borrower will be held financially responsible for any loss or damage to the AV material and/or print material during the period of the loan.
- Please return AV material and print material by the due date. A late return of items disadvantages other borrowers.
- AV material and print material must not be removed from the CPLQ Library without first notifying the Library staff of the intention to borrow. In the absence of Library staff, CPLQ staff wanting to borrow resources must follow the procedure located at the circulation desk.
- Members of the public must make an appointment prior to accessing the CPLQ Library. AV and print material must not be removed from the CPLQ Library in the absence of the Library staff under any circumstances.
- Library resources must not be passed on to another person without notifying the Library staff.
