Our support at home programs are designed to provide in-home support for adults with disabilities, their families and carers.
We understand that each person needs different types of support at different times. One of our in-home coordinators will work with your family to identify your specific needs. The different kinds of support we are able to provide includes:
- Household management (assistance with shopping, bills, etc)
- Bank access
- Organising housekeeping services
- Assistance with involvement in the community
- Support to engage with interests and hobbies
- Assistance to connect or remain connected with friends, family and other social networks
- Personal care
- Domestic and recreational support
- Accommodation search
- Household budgeting
- Providing local information about other supports and resources available
Adult Accommodation Services
Our adult accommodation service at Fig Tree Pocket was 15 years in the making and is a contemporary, universally-designed housing complex for our adult clients.
The government-owned, CPL-operated medium-density estate at Hillcrest, Logan offers individuals with very high-care needs 24-hour support.
Both of these services now support to up to 24 residents in their own homes.
Mobile support service
We also provide an innovative after-hours mobile support service to assist people with disabilities to live independently in their own homes with flexible care arrangements. Available support includes:
- Personal care, dressing and self-care
- Mealtime assistance
- Medication and other care needs
- After hours checking service
- Emergency response support
Prevention Program
In Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Bundaberg, we have implemented a two-year prevention program that provides a variety of support services to clients and their families with the aim of preventing them from needing emergency and crisis funding and support.
